The Oklahoma Criminal Justice Association annual conference was completed on March 30, 2012. The association elected new officers for the upcoming year. Dr. Elaine Bartgis, University of Central Oklahoma, is the new President, Dr. Sheri Keenan, Cameron University, is the new Vice President, and Dr. Elizabeth Maier, University of Central Oklahoma, is the Secretary/Treasurer.
The OCJA annual conference will be held on the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma on Thursday, March 28, 2013.
Our featured speaker for this year's conference will be Dr. Bobby Smith. Dr. Smith will be presenting a discussion of "Critical Incident Issues and How Trauma Affects the Individual Mentally, Physically, Emotionally, and Behaviorally."
The meeting will begin at 8:00 in the Nigh University Center on the University of Central Oklahoma campus.
